Chengya Liang is a physician-scientist turned marketing executive with expertise in global marketing, product strategy, and commercialization across life sciences, biotech, diagnostics, and precision medicine. She has successfully built and led teams that have driven business growth, launched innovative products, and formed strategic partnerships in the life science, biopharma, and biotech sectors.
Earlier in her career, Chengya worked as a cardiologist and biomedical scientist, leading translational research programs and biomarker development efforts in collaboration with pharmaceutical and biotech partners. In addition, she is a thought leader in life sciences, has extensive knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has written numerous published pieces on clinical, preclinical, and biomedical research. Chengya has also been featured in multiple academic society magazines and business journals.
Chengya holds an MBA from Cornell University, a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Virginia Tech, a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Cell Biology from the University of Central Florida, and an MD in Clinical Medicine from Shandong University.
